Wednesday, April 19, from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Framingham State College students who are members of the Amigos Club will be Big Brothers and Big Sisters for the afternoon, as they host 19 children for games and activities.
The children, who are on the waiting list of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest. also will sit in on a Spanish class.
Activities begin at 1:15 at Framingham State College's Athletic and Recreation Center.
Also taking part in the event is the Framingham State College men's basketball team, who are Big Brothers to boys at Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School. The basketball team members volunteer in the School Based Mentor program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest and meet weekly with their Little Brothers at the McAuliffe school.
